Classroom Requirements

VMTraining - VMware Training
Important Instructions for Classroom Setup

We need to make sure that our VMTraining classroom will have dedicated bandwidth to and from the internet of 75 - 100 Kbps up and down per student (plus the instructor), or more. So a class of 10 students needs almost 768 - 1000 Kbps dedicated to just our classroom and not shared with other classes or associates. If we are concurrently delivering to remote students using our Citrix GoToMeeting solution, an additional 200K up and down will be needed.

To be proactive, we are asking all facilities to run the speed test links below in the classroom where our instructor will be training. Many of our partners now put our class on a dedicated and separate T-1 or Fract T-3 to ensure the bandwidth needed. Bandwidth is critical to running a successful class. We cannot emphasize this point strongly enough.
