We are going to be upgrading from 3.5 in the near future, but we have disk alignment issues right now, and we are trying out different softwares to perform disk alignment.  So far we are not happy with what we have tested (Voptimizer, Paragon), and wondering if V4 has software available to do this for us without having to go outside vendor.

If V4 can do it for us, we will just wait until we upgrade.  If it can't, then we will look at more 3rd party software companies.

It's as simple as using FDISK both in Windows and in ESX.  Here is the document that can walk you through both.
