The Ultimate Bootcamp® is taught by the top virtualization experts, with hands-on labs designed to expose the student to advanced virtualization concepts and VMware’s VI3.5 Product. This comprehensive class prepares the student to become a professional virtualization expert with the certification Certified Virtualization Expert® (CVE®) to attest to their knowledge of the material and technology.
Ultimate Bootcamps are designed to give the student in-depth skills training through hands-on experience with state-of-the art equipment.
The focus of the VMware VI3.5 Ultimate Bootcamp is to instill the knowledge required for the student to do their job efficiently and effectively. To accomplish this, we provide a comprehensive Beginner to Advanced training experience, starting from the installation of the licensed product to real world troubleshooting scenarios. The course focus is not limited only to learning and harnessing the power of VMware® but the entire concept of virtualization and other 3rd party tools and technologies that will enhance VMware® capabilities and increase the student’s virtualization expertise.

Official Certified Virtualization Expert® Prometric™ Exam
Students will finish the week by taking the Certified Virtualization Expert® Exam. Delivered in a professional testing environment, the 2 hour exam is designed to validate the information covered in the Ultimate Bootcamp®, and certify the student as a subject matter expert in the application of Virtualization technologies. To receive the certification the student must successfully complete the Ultimate Bootcamp® and pass the examination with a 75% score or higher.

Each student is assigned their own dedicated Dell Poweredge server with 24 hour access to a real data center with over 100 physical servers during the bootcamp week. Students do NOT have to share servers. Shared servers ARE utilized in VMware® Authorized Training classes.
Students will perform all labs on hardware you find in a real data centers and not PC’s like you find in other VMware® Training courses. Having 24/7 unlimited access to the datacenter means the student can leverage the learning experience by revisiting labs where other courses have limited hours and access to servers. This flexibility allows students to learn at their own pace without time constraints or distractions.
Perform Real World Labs (and more labs...)
The VMware VI3.5 Ultimate Bootcamp is not a VMware® Authorized Course. Therefore, students will be exposed to independent, third party solutions, which are not covered in VMware® classes but are actually utilized in the real world environment.
The course has over 50 labs, the most of any training program available, leading to 65% of the class time spent learning by hands-on labs. The time spent performing hands-on labs allows the student to develop the skills, knowledge, and techniques needed to implement VI3.5 in a production environment.

CVE® Certification
Why Should Individuals Get Certified?
Certification can lead to better visibility, opportunities, and jobs. In today's increasingly complex and highly-specialized economy, credentials are everything. Sure, the student knows that he/she has the skills to do the job, but how do they convince potential customers and employers? For many career-minded professionals, certification is often the answer.
For IT professionals, it is recognized as a valuable way to prove professional credentials to employers and the general public. For others, the topic can generate a puzzled response. Why become certified? Isn't a college degree and/or years of practical hands-on experience enough to establish one's credentials? Either response of yes or no is correct, depending on your clientele and colleagues.
How to get a CVE® Certification
- Attend an Official Ultimate Bootcamp® prior to taking the test.
- Pass the Prometric CVE® exam (VT0-VUB) with a score of 75% or better.
The CVE® exam is 2 hours in length, consists of 80 questions covering critical virtualization technologies in use today.
